1. What is grounding? Why do we need to be grounded?

Static electricity in the human body is causing different kinds of problems and diseases. Therefore, it’s important to often release the static from the body to avoid the static accumulated and to balance the voltage between body and the environment.

The best way to eliminate static electricity in the body is to let the bare skin touch the ground outdoors directly. However, after human beings put on their shoes and live in the building, they lost the chance to feel the healing power of nature that decouples from the natural potential and creates free radical and cause inflammation.

2. Why we got too much static electricity in the body?

Excessive static electricity in the human body will lead to high blood concentration and hypoxia. When hypoxia reaches a certain stage, the potential difference of the outer membrane of particles and cell lines is insufficient. The excessive positive charge will also cause the protein to stick together, resulting in Tissue cell adhesion.

The red blood cells are concave in the shape of a disc. This shape can increase the contact area with oxygen. However, because of the excessive positive charge, the red blood cells, which are essentially proteins, stick together that greatly reduce the ability to transport oxygen. This phenomenon can be called the "electrostatic adsorption effect".

3. How to be grounded?

Grounding therapy encourages people to walk barefoot outdoors, use their skin to touch the grass, beach, or soil, and increase the area of contact with the ground, such as lying on the grass or beach in a park. Contact with water is also a form of grounding, such as immersing your feet in lake or river water or going to the beach to swim. If you can’t go out, many grounding products have been developed on the market, such as grounding bedding, grounding sheets, grounding socks, grounding bracelets, etc., to help you discharge static electricity from your body.

4. How to use grounding products?

5. How to Choose Grounding Cord?

We have two types of material for grounding cord, copper tinsel and stainless cord. Copper tinsel is much more soft and easy to re-arrange that suitable for indoor grounding. On the contrary, the stainless cord is harder and more durable that suitable for outdoor grounding.

Besdie the material, we also need to consider the resistance of the grounding cord when choosing the right one. If use the third grounding hole of the outlet as the grounding point, first, we need to check whether the outlet is safe and has low opportunity to occur electricity leakage. If the outlet is not safe enough, then cord with 51k or 100k resistance is recommended. If the outlet is safe and the gorunding hole is workable, grounding cord without resistance will have better result of releasing static.
